Masterparts is a large automotive parts wholesaler and retailer that has been in the trade for fifty years. We are opening a Distribution Center in Modderfontein and are looking for experienced and knowledgeable staff.

We are looking for warehouse workers who are accustomed to offloading, picking, and packing large volumes of medium to heavy stock.

The duties may include:

- - - - Offloading stock.
      - Checking goods received.
      - Moving bulk inventory and packing stock away.
      - Picking of stock.
      - Checking picked and packed store.
      - Packing freight parcels.
      - General Housekeeping of the warehouse (Cleaning and Tidying)
      - Doing periodical stock counts.
      - Security of warehouse.
      - Ad Hoc Duties as required.

We require someone who is very accurate with stock numbers. You must be in good health and able to do physically demanding work, especially lifting and carrying heavy stock items and spending long hours standing or walking.

    - Product knowledge of automotive aftermarket spares is advantageous.
    - Experience in a medium to large warehouse is beneficial.
    - Experience working in a busy despatch is beneficial.

Quality Controller – Jigs/Erection

- - - Inspection of Jig and Erection structure of the bus according to quality standards.
    - Detection and Identification of Quality defects, reporting and capturing on quality system to generate snag list.
    - Communication of all quality and engineering related issues to Production and Engineering departments.
    - Use of Engineering drawings to inspect the assembled units at Jigs and Erection and, identify and communicate any discrepancies with Engineering department and supervisor.
    - Checking of the Sales Order for each unit produced at Jigs / Erection.
    - Completing demerit and inspection reports.
    - Inspect Work in progress to determine whether the product meet customer specification.
    - Record and report all quality issues.
    - Investigating RCA’s (Root Cause Analysis) on downtime with all parties involved.
    - Validation of results according to drawings making use of calibration tools.
    - Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
    - Inspect and sign off job cards with suppliers for outsourced services on buses.
    - Update the demerit-points charts.

Purpose of the Role

As Branch Coordinator, you are responsible for the overall performance, safety, and customer service standards of the Sales Hub. This includes managing people, processes, stock, finances, and customer relationships while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in line with company standards.
