Looking for a PROFESSIONAL Support Technician with minimum 4-5 years POST QUALIFICATION field experience within IT support, for an established Medical organisation.

The ideal person will have;

• A solid background in IT Support and possess a sales profile
• Comfortable dealing with Medical Professionals
• Sound interpersonal skills (no slang – no accents)
• Set up to work from home (internet, printer – laptop will be provided)
• Own RELIABLE well kept car
• Relevant Tertiary Education
• Must have built/disassembled a PC and/or reinstalled software before
• Clear credit and criminal record and contactable references

Full INTENSE training will be provided in order to operate the Medical Navigation system software and hardware (working alongside the ENT/Neuro Surgeon).

Local and National travel required and (all travel costs covered).

Your presentation skills, willingness to learn, inquiring mind and team player approach and your ability to communicate on all levels are required.

Upon completion of 6 months probation you will be eligible for additional benefits :

Petrol and Travel costs paid in line with AA rates and Car service and maintenance assistance based on km travelled for work, Cell reimbursement and laptop provided.

After-hours and Weekend work may be required – ad-hoc.

Responsibility:

• Support of image-guided surgery systems; upselling where possible
• Working alongside the ENT/Neuro Surgeon, navigating software/hardware system
• Collection of equipment/stock from suppliers/clients;
• Installation, Repair, Maintenance and Set up of Navigation Systems, Ultrasound Imaging, DICOM Imaging, Medical Planning software and Displays and related equipment etc;
• Diagnostics/Faultfinding/Repair and providing Training to Theatre staff, Medical Staff and Radiology Staff.
