Job Description
The purpose of this role is to manage stock levels and movements within the warehouse, ensuring accurate records and efficient stock management.
Responsibilities:
– Manage and organize the inventory systems to ensure accurate stock levels
– Monitor and track stock levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory
– Booking of stock in and out of warehouse from production
– Work closely with warehouse and production teams
– Oversee efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of goods
– Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
– Maintain accurate filling system for auditing requirements and traceability purposes
– Maintain accurate Chep systems and conduct weekly Chep counts
– Controlling Chep exchanges and ensuring returns of pallets
– Conduct regular stock counts and audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy
– Implement and maintain efficient warehouse organization and layout
– Generate reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies for management review
– Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock management processes
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure stock availability to meet customer demands
– Train and supervise stockroom staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods
– Adhere to company policies and procedures related to stock management and control
– Keep to all housekeeping, warehouse, safety, and food safety rules

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
Â- Matric/ Grade 12
– Logistics Diploma (Advantageous)
-2 years in Warehouse & CHEP
– Proven work experience as a stock controller or similar role
– Strong organizational and analytical skills
– Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
– Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain management
– Ability to lift and move heavy objects
– Forklift license (Advantageous)
