ROLE OVERVIEW
Operate a Hino 700 2841 truck and Palfinger PK 23500 crane to transport, lift and place landscaping materials and equipment. Ensure full compliance with road traffic laws, OHS requirements, and company safety procedures. Perform daily inspections, record keeping, and assist site teams with logistics.
Candidate Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric certificate
- Valid Crane Operator Competency Certificate
- Code EC licence + PDP (no restrictions)
- 5+ years’ truck-mounted crane experience in construction, agriculture, landscaping or earthworks
- Knowledge of rigging, load securing and basic mechanical systems
- Good communication, reliability, hazard awareness and attention to detail
- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Own reliable transport, RSA citizenship, physically fit, willing to work outdoors and overtime
