Job Description

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Concierge to join our team. This part-time role requires exceptional customer service skills, the ability to manage guest experiences seamlessly, and a keen eye for property standards. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their stay is smooth and memorable while maintaining high operational standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Management

  • Handle reservation enquiries on Airbnb and direct booking platforms in line with company policy.
  • Support guest vetting and onboarding processes.
  • Greet and welcome guests, assisting with check-ins and, when necessary, check-outs.
  • Maintain communication with guests during their stay via booking platforms and WhatsApp groups.
  • Resolve guest issues professionally, troubleshooting on-site technical problems, and escalating when necessary.
  • Implement remedial actions for breaches of company policy.

Property Management

  • Coordinate linen and housekeeping when on duty.
  • Report to management on consumables, breakages, and missing items.
  • Conduct quality control checks prior to guest arrival.
  • Perform regular technical inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with relevant teams.

Administration

  • Arrange housekeeping transport between properties (e.g., Uber bookings).
  • Keep accurate records of financial transactions, maintenance activities, and guest communications.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalised service.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience with property management software.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and maintenance coordination.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a luxury Airbnb, 5-star hotel, or guest house environment.
  • Estate agent accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
