Forklift Drivers
Reporting to:Â Warehouse Manager

Purpose of the Role:
To efficiently and safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials within the warehouse, production floor, or yard. The ideal candidate will be a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding the highest standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift (counterbalance, reach truck, or other powered industrial trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines.
- Stack and store products securely in designated warehouse locations, both high and low level.
- Perform pre-shift forklift checks (DIF) and report any mechanical faults or damages immediately.
- Work with picking sheets, orders, and instructions to select and prepare goods for dispatch.
- Accurately record movement of goods and update inventory records via RF scanners or paperwork.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OHS Act requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members, warehouse staff, and truck drivers.
Requirements & Experience:
Matric Certificate (Grade 12) is essential. Valid, recognized Forklift Operator License / Certificate is non-negotiable. A Clean Criminal Record is required. Minimum of 2-4 years proven experience as a forklift driver in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is advantageous. Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety regulations.
