🎯 Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer with deep expertise in FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) systems. This role involves leading engineering, planning, and execution of FPSO projects from concept to commissioning. You’ll manage multidisciplinary teams in complex offshore environments, ensuring technical integrity, safety, budget control, and timely delivery.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and project management for FPSO projects, ensuring scope, cost, quality, and schedule alignment.
- Oversee all phases: FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, integration, offshore installation, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with clients, classification societies, shipyards, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables and design documents for topside and hull systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP reviews, and implement safety management practices.
- Resolve technical challenges and optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Present regular project updates to senior management and clients.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Structural, Marine, or Petroleum Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineering (PE) or Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
- 8–12 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas, with 5+ years in FPSO projects.
- Strong knowledge of offshore facility design, topsides, subsea tie-backs, mooring, and hull structures.
- Experience across FEED and EPCIC phases.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ABS, DNV, ISO).
