Job Description

Title: Audit Senior with 3 year experience

Category: Accounting & Finance

RCA is an audit & accounting firm in Stellenbosch urgently requires an experienced qualified, accounting & auditing clerk to commence duties as soon as possible.

The successful candidate needs to be able to use his/her own initiative, possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and satisfy the following minimum requirements:

· relevant tertiary qualifications ( Completed or close to completed B Comm / B Rek degree) and must be prepared to complete studies.

· at least three years’ experience in a similar position with particular emphasis on:

· Auditing financial statement ito ISA using Caseware Cloud

· Part or Completed Articles

· Computer literate (- Microsoft Office – Sage One, Pastel Partner – Case Ware/ Draftwork) intermediate level – must know MS Word/ Excell and MS Outlook & MS Teams

· Individual and Corporate Tax knowledge

· drawing up and reporting of monthly management statements and other reports

· Capture Invoices, reconcile bank, creditors and customers on SAGE

· Allocate expenses & income on Sage

· Prepare Payroll on Sage,

· Prepare Annual Financial Statements on CaseWare

· Reconciling donors funds and accounting for expenses.

· Fluent in English is a minimum requirement.

· Afrikaans and other South African languages, written and oral required

Very important requirements

· Must be able to work from home and can be reached virtually

· Must have a PC with Intel Core I5

· Team player with the ability to work independently

· Valid Driver’s Licences required

In addition, the applicant should have good interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills manage deadlines, prioritize duties, high stress threshold, good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, excellent numeracy and the ability to liaise with clients up to directorial level. They should also be optimistic, energetic, driven, assertive and well presented.

Successful candidates will receive excellent training and gain a wide range of exposure and experience. Preference will be given to SA Citizens.

Our compensation package is market standard related. And will take into account the candidate’s skills and years of experience. ( 3months contract position)
