Job Detail

Our client is seeking an experienced Arc Welder for a 2 day project in Kempton Park, Johannesburg

· Perform arc welding on stainless steel and various metal components according to technical specifications

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.

· Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.

· Inspect and test welded structures to ensure they meet industry standards.

· Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.

· Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workplace.

· Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.

Requirements

· Grade 12

· Certification in welding (Trade Test or equivalent) is preferred.

· Minimum 2 years experience as an Arc Welder.

· Stainless steel welding experience essential,

· Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety protocols.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

· Experience with MIG, TIG, or stick welding is an advantage.

· Valid drivers license and own transport

· Must be available to start immediately
