Job Description

Role Overview:

Lead child protection and safeguarding initiatives across SPARK High Schools. Support social workers, enhance behaviour management, and implement the Character Quotient (CQ) framework.

 Key Duties:

  • Develop and implement child protection policies
  • Manage casework and support social workers
  • Strengthen behaviour and restorative practices
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Build capacity and share knowledge

 Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Social Science, or related field
  • Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions
  • SAQA accreditation for foreign qualifications
  • 3–5 years in child protection (preferably in schools)
  • 5+ years working with vulnerable children
  • Experience in training and child advocacy
