Job Description

Contract Manager (Temporary | 3–6 months)
Location: Cape Town
Reports to: Operations Manager

Overview:
Our Cape Town regional office delivers professional cleaning and hygiene solutions with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Purpose:
We seek an experienced Contract Manager to oversee operations at a key client site, ensuring efficient service delivery across cleaning, hygiene, pest control, and landscaping. The role requires strong leadership, client management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage site teams to meet company and client expectations.

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards are achieved.

  • Implement best practices, monitor performance, and resolve service issues promptly.

  • Conduct regular client meetings, build relationships, and maintain high satisfaction levels.

  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost control and profitability targets are met.

  • Maintain accurate records for payroll, attendance, and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.

  • Oversee audits, inspections, and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage assets, consumables, and equipment maintenance according to contractual terms.

  • Identify training needs, conduct performance reviews, and support staff development.

  • Support new business and upselling opportunities within client accounts.

  • Promote innovation, efficiency, and adherence to company values.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing large cleaning or facilities contracts.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and client communication skills.

  • Knowledge of SHEQ and budget management.
