Job Description

A well-established and fast-paced manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in inventory and stock management to join their team in Germiston, Gauteng. The successful candidate must have experience working with stock environments valued at R400 million and managing over 35,000 active line items. This role is critical in supporting business intelligence and optimizing stock across a national warehouse network.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manage stock levels across more than ten warehouses
  • Forecast demand per region using historical trends and market insights
  • Monitor and improve lead times in coordination with procurement and operations teams
  • Ensure availability of key stock lines aligned with warehouse-specific demands
  • Deliver detailed and actionable reporting to support inventory optimization and business decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing inventory in environments with stock values of R400 million and 35,000+ line items
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in reporting
  • Experience with BI tools and ERP systems (advantageous)
  • Solid understanding of complex procurement and supply processes, including local supply, manufacturing, imports, and buyouts
