Job Description

An IT and services company specializing in managed ICT solutions for businesses is seeking Direct Sales Consultants, for both their Cape Town, who will aggressively expand their market footprint. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from cold-calling and “door-knocking” to presenting and closing deals across our suite of ICT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Secure 40 qualified leads via cold calling, “door-knocking,” and networking.
  • Quotations: Deliver 20 formal quotes (average of 5 per week).
  • Conversions: Close and sign 10 new clients.
  • In-Person Engagement: All quotes must be presented to the client in person.
  • On-the-Spot Pricing: Utilize approved price lists to provide immediate quotes during consultations.
  • Pipeline Management: Proactive follow-ups to drive closures and maintain a high win rate.
  • Data Integrity: Real-time reporting of all leads, quotes, and contracts.
  • Compliance: Strict adherence to DO TECH sales protocols and internal policies.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Mobility: Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (non-negotiable).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven sales experience within the ICT or Office Automation industries.
  • Sales DNA: High-energy “Hunter” personality with a focus on new business acquisition.
  • Resilience: Strong work ethic with the ability to maintain peak performance under pressure and handle rejection effectively.
  • Proactivity: Demonstrated ability to self-generate leads and build a pipeline from scratch.
  • Connectivity & VoIP: Experience with internet telephony and hosted voice solutions (e.g., Vox / Internet Express).
  • Office Automation: Proficiency in managed print services and hardware (e.g., Nashua / Konica Minolta).
  • Competitor Insight: Preference will be given to “Hunters” coming directly from competitors within the ICT, ISP, or PBX space.
  • Specialization Requirement: Deep technical familiarity with at least one core product listed on the DO TECH portfolio is mandatory.
