📌 Finance Administrator – Isango Lethu TB Research Unit

🌍 About the Unit
Ref: JHB003691
The Isango Lethu TB Research Unit, part of Wits Health Consortium (CHRU), runs clinical trials for improved drug-resistant TB treatments.
🎯 Role Purpose
Ensure accurate, timely billing and recovery of project expenditure, and manage operational financial functions.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices/orders per WHC SOPs
- Compile purchase orders (P2P) & submit EPMVs
- Maintain audit trails & creditor reconciliations
- Follow up on outstanding invoices/payments
- Monthly reconciliations: petrol, credit card, petty cash, patient transport, eWallet, airtime
- Authorize/oversee eWallet payments, travel, conferences
- Asset management: FAR updates, tagging, annual verification, audits
- Professional stakeholder engagement & customer service
- Support ad hoc admin tasks
- Drive self-development through training
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Cost Accounting (B Compt) or BCom Accounts
- Advanced Excel skills
- 5–6 years post-qualification in finance/costing
- NGO or related industry experience

- Work under pressure, meet deadlines
- Independent & team-oriented
- High attention to detail
- ACCPAC experience advantageous
- Ability to influence beyond direct authority
