Job Description
Our client, a leading hospitality venue in Cape Town, is looking for a hands-on and experienced General Manager with a strong background in Food & Beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:

HR Management: Staff recruitment, training & development, performance reviews, and labour relations.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, drive profitability, approve banking and payroll, review income statements.

Quality & Compliance: Enforce hygiene, health & safety, and operating standards.

Stock & Asset Control: Oversee stock levels, asset care, stock takes, write-offs, and loss prevention.

Health & Safety: Implement HACCP, report hazards, and ensure a safe working environment.

Sales & Strategy: Maintain service levels, manage VIPs and guest relations, implement business strategies, and enhance public relations.

Customer Service: Handle complaints effectively and ensure high guest satisfaction and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
-
Matric + Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or related field
-
3+ years’ senior management experience in F&B/hospitality
-
Strong financial, operational, and people management skills
-
MS Office proficiency
-
Sound knowledge of labour legislation and disciplinary procedures
Salary Package:
-
±R35 000 CTC per month (includes Provident Fund)
