This role will work closely with the Financial Manager to attend to tasks like financial reporting, budgeting, and reviewing of junior accountants’ work.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing management accounts.
- Responsible for reviewing salary, prepaid and receipting recons.
- Responsible for preparing reconciliations between two accounting systems monthly
- Reviewing VAT201 submissions and YTD recons.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining cash flows and preparing Budget vs Actuals
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing adjustment accounts for properties acquired or disposed
- Responsible for acquisition and disposal journals and capital gain tax calculations.
- Assist with on/-off boarding of properties on MRI
- Responsible for assisting with tax planning.
- Responsible for preparing annual financial statements and assisting with Audit queries.
Candidate Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (property or financial services sector is advantageous).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- CIMA – very advantageous
- Core Soft Skills
