🎓 Qualifications & Experience
📚 Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a housekeeping management role.
- Proven track record of reliability, diligence, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with current housekeeping trends and best practices.
🎓 Preferred
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management.
- Experience leading high-performing teams in upscale or boutique hotel environments.
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and reporting.
- International exposure and multilingual abilities.
🕒 Availability
- Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- South African citizenship or valid work permit required.
🧍♀️ Physical & Mental Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods while inspecting rooms and facilities.
- Physical strength to push/pull housekeeping carts and handle cleaning equipment.
- Mental resilience to remain calm under pressure and maintain objectivity in decision-making.
- Capacity to communicate clearly and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
