Our kitchens are structured, professional environments prioritising consistency, hygiene, and operational excellence.
We are seeking a detail-driven Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations at Bridgewater Manor. This role suits a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives on stock accuracy, compliance, and structured processes, working closely with Chefs to ensure smooth, well-controlled kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Stock & Operations: Implement SOPs, manage stock control, conduct counts, oversee procurement, reduce wastage, maintain equipment, ensure hygiene compliance.
- Health & Safety: Lead HACCP, conduct inspections, attend monthly meetings, ensure Department of Health compliance, report incidents.
- Team Leadership: Supervise scullers/kitchen staff, mentor and train on SOPs and hygiene, oversee onboarding.
- Administration: Submit accurate reports, manage assets/equipment, drive efficiency improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric; Hospitality/Culinary qualification advantageous
- Food Safety/Hygiene Certification
- Experience in kitchen/catering/food service environment
- Proven stock control and inventory management exposure
- Knowledge of food safety standards, Health & Safety basics
- POS system experience advantageous
