Faircape Group seeks an experienced, commercially strategic Group Financial Manager to lead financial strategy, governance, and reporting across the Group. This senior leadership role suits a qualified CA(SA) who is technically strong yet hands-on — able to move between strategic discussions and detailed financial controls, reporting accuracy, and system optimisation.

The Role Responsible for planning, implementation, management, and oversight of all finance activities across the Group, including financial management, controls, reporting governance, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, and systems optimisation. Lead a finance team of ~30 staff and work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive operational excellence and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Governance: Direct finance teams, oversee systems, controls, compliance, present monthly reports, coordinate audits, review Annual Financial Statements.
- Strategy & Commercial Oversight: Provide strategic recommendations, align financial strategy with Group objectives, improve reporting and efficiency, identify inefficiencies, drive sustainable improvements, support long-term planning.
- Financial Management & Reporting: Manage budgeting/forecasting, ensure accurate monthly accounts, oversee reporting and cash flow, monitor spend vs. budget, drive accountability, optimise workflows, manage finance team processes.
Qualifications
- CA(SA) or equivalent required
- Advantageous: CIMA, MBA/Postgrad in Finance/Business/Strategy, Postgrad Diploma in Tax/Auditing/Financial Management
Experience & Knowledge
- Proven commercial/corporate/operational experience

Remuneration Above market-related salary, dependent on qualifications, experience, and market factors.
