🚀 Senior HR Officer – Immediate Opportunity
Our listed client is urgently seeking a seasoned Senior HR Officer to deliver full-spectrum Human Resources support. This role demands a well-rounded HR generalist with strong administrative, advisory, and compliance skills.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, onboarding.
- Oversee HR and payroll administration using SAGE 300 People.
- Draft/manage employment contracts, appointment letters, promotions, terminations.
- Administer benefits: medical aid, retirement fund, staff loans.
- Advise on employee relations: disciplinary hearings, grievances, CCMA representation.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and statutory reports (Employment Equity, UI-19, etc.).
- Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee records.
- Support training initiatives and assist with Employment Equity and Training Committees.
- Stay current with labour legislation, HR best practices, and case law.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or Psychology (essential).
- Honours Degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ HR generalist experience, including Industrial Relations.
- Strong background in HR administration, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with job grading principles.
💼 Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in SAGE 300 People (essential).
- Strong MS Office skills (Intermediate–Advanced).
- Experience with online recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, PNet, etc.).
- Excellent interviewing and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and advisory abilities.
- Professional handling of sensitive employee relations matters.
- Fluency in Zulu is essential.
