We’re seeking a visionary Product Head – Alliances to build and lead a world-class alliance product suite, driving strategic partnerships with global payment networks, challenger banks, and fintech disruptors. This is a rare opportunity to design, launch, and scale a collaborative model that redefines fintech in South Africa.
🧠 What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute the end-to-end strategy for Lesaka’s Alliance offering
- Design a full product ecosystem: issuing, acquiring, embedded finance
- Build GTM strategies to position Lesaka as the preferred fintech partner
- Collaborate with network schemes (e.g., Mastercard, Visa, PayInc) to co-launch joint offerings
- Co-create scalable, compliant products with strategic partners
- Lead cross-functional teams across finance, tech, ops, and compliance
- Refine pricing, commercial models, and partnership structures for growth
- Stay ahead of payment trends and guide the alliance roadmap
🎓 What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 10+ years in payments, digital banking, or fintech product management
- 5+ years in alliance banking or strategic partnerships
- Deep understanding of payment economics, issuing/acquiring, and BaaS frameworks
- Proven success in GTM strategy, product lifecycle, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong knowledge of SARB, PASA, FIC, POPIA regulations
- Strategic, commercial, and communication excellence
- A self-starter with vision, resilience, and collaborative leadership
