Job Description
The Professional Development and Life Skills Facilitator is central to Omnihub’s mission. In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate engaging workshops, courses, and coaching sessions that foster critical life skills and promote professional development. Your work will support participants from diverse backgrounds—including students, professionals, career changers, and community groups—helping them to cultivate resilience, communication, leadership, time management, adaptability, and other essential competencies.

Key responsibilites are
·      Design, develop, and facilitate high-impact training sessions, workshops, and programs in professional development and life skills.
·      Conduct needs assessments and tailor content to suit a variety of audiences, ensuring cultural sensitivity and accessibility for all participants.
·      Incorporate experiential learning, group facilitation, and interactive methodologies to maximize engagement and knowledge retention.
·      Coach individuals and small groups, providing constructive feedback and actionable guidance for personal and professional growth.
·      Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, gathering feedback, analysing outcomes, and continuously improving content and delivery.
·      Collaborate with Omnihub’s curriculum designers, subject matter experts, and support staff to create innovative learning solutions.
·      Stay abreast of the latest trends and research in adult education, professional development, and life skills training.
·      Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, partners, and community organizations.
·      Contribute to Omnihub’s knowledge base and resource library by creating articles, guides, and other relevant materials.
·      Represent Omnihub at events, conferences, and outreach activities as needed.
Candidate Requirements
·      Minimum Degree qualification on Psychology/ Human Resources/ Social Sciences/ Business Administration/ Communication or any related field.
·      Minimum 5 years’ experience in training, facilitation, coaching, or related roles.
·      ETDP SETA statement of results/ certification in facilitation/ coaching/ conducting assessments or adult education.
·      Strong knowledge of professional development frameworks and essential life skills topics (e.g., communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, resilience, time management, financial literacy).
·      Demonstrated ability to connect with and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation abilities.
·      Experience with online learning platforms, virtual facilitation tools, and blended learning models is desirable.
·      Empathy, patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
·      Strong organizational and time management skills.
·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and/or other relevant technologies.
·      Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
·      Participation in Omnihub’s wellness and community initiatives.
