STOCK CONTROLLER
We are looking for an experienced and professional stock controller to join our organization. The stock controller will be responsible for maintaining the supply and demand of inventory and ensuring that there are adequate stocks available. The stock controller will also ensure stock purchasing, delivery, and shipping confirmations, and manage inventory balances. The ideal candidate will be able to keep a complete and detailed database of inventory and supply documentation, but will also be on the ground floor of receiving to personally inspect and confirm supply quality and delivery
Core functions
· Manage purchasing orders for incoming equipment, services, and supplies
- Verify receipts and confirm purchase contents and orders are complete
- Ordering of stock
- Prevent overstocking and ordering
- Keep track of inventory and supplies that need restocking
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Performing physical stock counts and analyse variances – stores and van stock
- Processing of information onto Sage300 / Accpac
1. Stock requisitions
2. Purchase orders
3. Receipting of delivery notes
4. Capturing of stock takes and performing a variance analysis
5.Ensure accurate costing of stock onto jobs/ projects
6. Reports
7. Maintain a neat and tidy store environment.
Requirements
· Two (2) years’ experience as a stock controller, receiver, or related position
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Able to work extra time when required.
· Accurate and attention to detail
· Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels

Pay: Up to R18Â 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Southern Suburbs, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
