Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations
- Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff
- Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with stock takes
- Monitor productivity and maintain warehouse housekeeping standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective action
- Complete warehouse reports and related administration
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 3–5 years’ warehouse experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role
- Experience in a packaging, manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment
- Strong stock control and inventory management skills
- Computer literate with Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system is advantageous
- Forklift licence will be advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous
