Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Trade Sales Executive to join our team in the cleaning and hygiene industry. This telephone-based role focuses on selling consumables such as paper products (hand towels, toilet paper), cleaning chemicals, and dispensing equipment. You’ll also generate once-off quotes for smaller services and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients.

🚀 Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound/inbound sales calls to promote and sell hygiene consumables.
  • Prepare and follow up on product and service quotations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell to existing clients.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity logs using online systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by resolving inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.
  • Submit daily sales reports and pipeline updates to management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activity.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in service or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven success in telesales or internal sales.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prepare quotes and understand product pricing.
  • Knowledge of hygiene consumables is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
