Job Description

Trainee Branch Manager

  • Hazyview
  • Middelburg

The successful incumbent will initially be rotating between stores in Gauteng in order to receive comprehensive training and understanding of the business, after which he/she will be assigned a branch to manage.

Minimum Requirements
Matric
Excellent communication skills
2+ years experience in a retail environment

Overview of position
Manage day-to-day operations of the branch including workflow, delegating duties and scheduling staff.
Staff management including recruitment, training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
Attending to customer complaints and enquiries.
Receiving and managing stock.
Cash management.
Inspect merchandise and store facilities to ensure quality, safety and cleanliness standards.
Liaise with head office regarding promotional campaigns and sales strategies.

Salary Bracket
R10 000 to R15 000 pm CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current/previous salary
