Job Description

Role Summary

The Clinician Engagement Manager will be responsible for the operational implementation of the Group’s Consistency of Care (CoC) strategy in the The company Hospital Division. The company’s (CoC) strategic pillars include Perception of Care, Clinician Engagement, Quality and Safety of Care, Clinical Efficiency, Clinical Governance and Patient Safety as well as compassion-based training initiatives for healthcare workers. It furthermore extends into the management systems of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) as well as Health Informatics Systems. The incumbent will also partner with Divisional Clinical and SHEQ managers across the The company ecosystem (The company Akeso, Primary Care Division, National Renal Care, Cancer Care, The company 911, The company Diagnostics and The company Plus) in ensuring the successful delivery of the CoC strategic objectives.

Inherent Requirements
Education

MBChB degree at an NQF level 7 is preferred.
Registration with HPCSA.

Work experience

3-5 years working experience in a healthcare/clinical environment.
Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring, and providing IT system support to end users. Experience working on electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Knowledge

Knowledge and support of the ever-evolving The company strategy of patient centred health and care. Continuously deepen the awareness of the strategy to address new challenges within the healthcare sector, to build a competitive advantage and sustainability through the The company moat strategy. An advanced level of Computer Literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications. Knowledge with regards to clinical care flow, standardisation of documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, as well as process requirements. Knowledge of international accreditation processes will be advantageous. Knowledge of health-related policies, procedures, and legislation.
